Step 1: Prepare Your Business Email
Before you start, decide which email address will be tied to your new Apple ID.
Best Practice:
-
Use a domain-based business email, such as
info@yourcompany.com
orappleid@youragency.com
. -
Avoid using public domain emails like Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook (e.g.,
yourbusiness@gmail.com
), as they look less credible and may limit verification options later. -
If you don’t yet have a business email, create one through your domain host (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.).
Step 2: Go to the Apple ID Sign-Up Page
Navigate to:
https://account.apple.com/sign-in
Click “Create Your Apple Account.”
Step 3: Fill Out the Apple ID Registration Form
You’ll be prompted to enter:
-

-
Enter the name of the business owner, account manager, or agency point of contact.
-
-

-
-

-
-
Business Email Address
-
Enter the domain-based email address you prepared earlier. This will be your Apple ID username.
-
-

-
Use a number you can access immediately—Apple will send a verification code via SMS or phone call.
-

-
You can uncheck this if you don’t want promotional emails from Apple.
-
-

-
Complete the CAPTCHA challenge.

Step 4: Verify Your Email and Phone Number
You’ll receive two codes:

One via email (sent to your business email address)
-
One via text or call (sent to the phone number you provided)
Enter both codes when prompted. This step confirms that you control both contact points.
