How to create a Company account on Apple Business Connect

To make a company account on Apple Business Connect, you need to follow these steps. These steps will ensure that your Apple ID is linked to your business and that you can properly claim and manage your business locations.

Steps to Create a Company Account on Apple Business Connect

Step 1: Make Sure You Have an Apple ID

  • Required: You must have an Apple ID that is tied to your business or brand, meaning the email associated with the Apple ID should be a business email (name@dbaplatform.com).

  • Personal Apple IDs cannot be used for business purposes on Apple Business Connect.

If you don’t already have an Apple ID tied to your business, follow these steps:

  2. Create a new Apple ID or use an existing Apple ID that is linked to your business email.

Step 2: Register for Apple Business Connect

Once your Apple ID is set up or you’ve confirmed it’s linked to your business, you can move on to registering for Apple Business Connect.

  1. Go to Apple Business Connect:

  2. Sign In Using Your Apple ID:

    • Use the Apple ID that is tied to your business (not a personal Apple ID).

    • You’ll be asked to log in with your Apple ID credentials (email and password).

Step 3: Create a Company Profile

After logging in, you will need to create your company profile.

  1. Enter Business Details:

    • You'll be asked to provide basic details about your business:

      • Business Name: The official name of your company or brand.

      • Business Category: Choose the category that best fits your business (e.g., restaurant, retail, etc.).

      • Business Address: Enter the physical location of your business.

      • Phone Number: The contact number for your business.

      • Business Website: Provide a link to your business website (if applicable).

Step 4: Verify Your Business

(This may not be required until Brand creation)

Verification ensures that you are the rightful owner of the business you’re trying to list.

Potential Verification Methods:

  • Document Upload
    • Acceptable documents include:
        • Utility bills

        • Business licenses

        • Tax documents (with matching business name/address)

      • Documents must be:

        • Dated within the last 6 months

        • Clear and unedited

        • Matching the business name you entered

  • Domain Validation
    • Required Field: You will be given a unique TXT record.

    • Verification Action: You must add this specific TXT record to your company's DNS zone file. This action proves to Apple that you have administrative access to the domain associated with your business. The system provides a 14-day window to complete this step.
